Alipay+ Travel Treat is an Alipay+ rewards program in the OCBC app that allows you to browse, claim and use vouchers from participating Alipay+ merchants across selected overseas destinations, including:

• Mainland China
• Hong Kong SAR
• Macau SAR
• Japan
• South Korea
• Malaysia
• Thailand

Once you have claimed a voucher, it will be automatically applied to eligible Alipay+ QR payment transactions, allowing you to enjoy instant savings on your purchase.

Alipay+ Travel Treat is available to all OCBC customers who have access to the OCBC app, allowing them to browse and claim available vouchers. To use your vouchers during payment, you must have an eligible OCBC SGD current or savings account.

No. You will need the OCBC app and be an eligible OCBC customer to use Alipay+ Travel Treat. You may download the OCBC app from your device’s app store.

No. There are no additional fees for claiming or using vouchers through Alipay+ Travel Treat.

You can claim a voucher and use it immediately or save it for later.

Option 1: Claim and use a voucher immediately

1. Open the OCBC app and go to Rewards.
2. Tap on 'Alipay+ Travel Treat'.
3. Browse and select the voucher you would like to claim.
4. Tap on 'Use It' and be redirected to OCBC's payment screen.
5. Complete your Alipay+ QR transaction.

Option 2: Claim and use a voucher later

1. Open the OCBC app and go to Rewards.
2. Tap on 'Alipay+ Travel Treat'.
3. Browse and select the voucher you would like to claim.
4. When you are ready to use the voucher, go to 'My Rewards' > 'My vouchers' > 'Available' within Alipay+ Travel Treat. Select the voucher, tap on 'Use It' and be redirected to OCBC's payment screen. Alternatively, you can also directly go to OCBC's Scan & Pay screen to complete your Alipay+ QR transaction.
5. Complete your Alipay+ QR transaction.

Note: Any claimed voucher will be automatically applied if your Alipay+ QR transaction meets the voucher's eligibility criteria.

Yes. You may claim more than one voucher. However, voucher availability, eligibility requirements and claim limits may vary. Please refer to the voucher details for more information.

You may be unable to claim a voucher for one of the following reasons:

• The voucher has been fully redeemed.
• The voucher claim period has ended.
• You have reached the claim limit for the voucher.
• A temporary service disruption has occurred.

You can view all your claimed vouchers under ‘My Rewards’ > ‘My vouchers’ within Alipay+ Travel Treat.

No. Only one eligible voucher can be applied to each Alipay+ QR payment transaction.

If multiple claimed vouchers are eligible for a transaction, the voucher that provides the highest savings will be automatically applied.

You may review the voucher details before making payment. The voucher details will indicate the participating merchants, minimum spend requirement, validity period and any applicable terms and conditions.

Your voucher may not have been applied because it has expired or your transaction does not meet the voucher requirements. Please refer to the voucher details for more information.

Not to worry, the voucher remains available and will automatically be applied when you pay. You can go to OCBC’s Scan & Pay screen to complete your Alipay+ QR payment.

Please check that your mobile phone's internet connection is stable.

If your payment is rejected, ensure that:

• You have sufficient funds in your eligible OCBC SGD current or savings account.
• You have not exceeded the maximium daily spend limit of SGD 3,000 or equivalent.
• You have not exceeded the additional limits imposed by Chinese regulators for Alipay+ QR payments in Mainland China:
  • USD 5,000 (~35,000 CNY) per transaction
  • USD 50,000 (~350,000 CNY) per year

Merchants may also be subjected to additional acceptance limits imposed by Alipay. As a result, you may occasionally encounter payment failures even when your account and limits are in order.

To resolve this, please ask the merchant to contact the Alipay+ Merchant Service Hotline at 400-758-5858 (service hours: 08:00 to 23:00) to request a review of their payment limit for overseas mobile wallet transactions.

No reminder notifications will be sent before your voucher expires. You can view your expired vouchers under ‘My Rewards’ > ‘My vouchers’ > ‘Expired’ within Alipay+ Travel Treat. Expired vouchers cannot be reinstated or extended. We recommend checking the voucher validity period regularly and using your voucher before it expires.
