Adding Card to Mobile Wallet
  • Which OCBC cards do these FAQs apply to?

These FAQs apply to OCBC credit and debit cards, excluding business cards.

  • What does it mean to add a card to a mobile wallet? How do I do this?

Adding a debit or credit card to a mobile wallet will allow you to make secure contactless payments using your mobile device.

As part of industry efforts to minimise fraud and scams, OCBC OneToken – your digital token in the OCBC app – must be used instead of SMS One-Time Passwords to add OCBC cards to mobile wallets (Apple Wallet and Samsung Wallet) from 31 July 2025.

Please read Question 5 for the steps to add OCBC cards to mobile wallets. Do note that, after the change on 31 July 2025, you will only be able to add OCBC cards to Garmin Pay™ and Fitbit Pay™ between 31 July 2025 and 10 August 2025; the adding of OCBC cards to these wallets will no longer be supported from 11 August 2025.

  • Which cards can I add to my mobile wallet? What is required?

OCBC debit and credit cards can be added to selected mobile wallets. Please ensure that:

    • The card you wish to add has been activated and has not been locked.
    • The card you wish to add must be in your name.
    • The latest version of the OCBC app must be installed on your device.
    • OCBC OneToken must be activated on your device (you will only be able to add a card to a mobile wallet 12 hours after activating OCBC OneToken)
