Can I keep my old ATM card to access my account?
As part of our security measures, you will not be able to use your old ATM card to access your account after 30 days from the date of this letter. If you wish to receive a replacement ATM card, please complete the enclosed form and mail it back to us. Alternatively, you can also visit any of our branches.

How can I get a replacement ATM card if I am overseas?
You may request for a replacement ATM card either by:
- Calling us at +65 6363 3333 or
- Logging in to your OCBC Online Banking and inform us by email
Please call or email us within 14 working days from the date of this letter. Upon receiving your request, a replacement ATM card will be mailed to your overseas address registered with us.

I replaced my old ATM card before receiving this letter. Will my new ATM card be cancelled?
If you recently received a new ATM card that comes with a chip, it will not be cancelled.

Will I still be able to use my old ATM card before it is cancelled?
You will still be able to use your old ATM card before it is cancelled 30 days from receiving the letter notification.

I have two OCBC accounts. The first account is linked to my credit card and the second account to my ATM card. If I cancel my ATM card, will my second account be automatically linked to my credit card?
No. Your second account will not be automatically linked to your credit card upon cancellation of your ATM card. If you wish to do so, please use any of our ATMs. For Plus!/NTUC card holders, you may get a replacement ATM card from any OCBC Bank branch.

If I want to use my credit card which is linked to my savings/current account to withdraw cash overseas, do I need to activate the magnetic stripe?
Yes. You will need to activate both the magnetic stripe as well as the overseas ATM cash withdrawal feature on your card.
To activate the magnetic stripe on your card, you can choose to:
- Visit https://internet.ocbc.com/cardactivation/magstripecard and select "Activate magnetic stripe for overseas transaction"
- Log on to OCBC Online Banking at www.ocbc.com/login. Go to "Customer Service" and select "Overseas purchase"
To activate the overseas cash withdrawal feature on your card, you can choose to: SMS ATM space
activate to +65 9327232
Example: ATM S12345678Z 0123 DDMMYY DDMMYY ACTIVATEWe will send you an acknowledgement SMS after we receive your request.
Log on to OCBC Online Banking at ocbc.com/login. Go to "Customer Service" and select "Overseas card use"

Can I use my credit card to make overseas point-of-sale purchases and/or Cash Advance?
Yes, you can. However, you will need to activate the Overseas Magnetic Stripe feature on your card. To do so, you can choose to:
- Visit http://internet.ocbc.com/cardactivation/magstripecard and select "Activate magnetic stripe for overseas transaction"
- Log on to OCBC Online Banking at www.ocbc.com/login. Go to "Customer Service" and select "Overseas purchase"
Activation of magnetic stripe for overseas transaction is immediate and Cash Advance transactions will incur a service fee.
Important Note:
Overseas cash withdrawal with your credit card can be performed using Cash Advance or direct withdrawal from your account(s), depending on the options available at the overseas ATMs. You may refer to our overseas guide at http://ocbc.com/personal-banking/Help-and-Support/overseas-card-comparison-table.html for more information.
