WHAT IS THE ‘DISPUTE CARD TRANSACTIONS’ FEATURE?

This feature, available in both OCBC Internet Banking and the OCBC Digital app, lets you dispute incorrect or suspicious transactions seamlessly.

How to get started

  • Dispute transactions easily via OCBC Internet Banking or the OCBC Digital app.
  • If you spot an unauthorised transaction on your card statement, report it to us within 7 days of receiving the statement or immediately upon receiving an SMS notifying you of the transaction.
  • So we can assist you in reporting the unauthorised transaction to the relevant card associations (i.e. Visa or Mastercard), do provide the information or supporting documents we request.
  • The fraud-related dispute rules relating to unauthorised transactions state that you can dispute up to 35 Visa transactions and 15 Mastercard transactions at one go. There are no dispute rights for transactions that had been fully authenticated, such as via OTP. All decisions are subject to the sole discretion of the card association.
