WHAT ARE THE ACTIVATE AND LOCK/UNLOCK CARD FEATURES?

Any new card you receive via mail or collect at a branch cannot be used until you have activated it. The ‘Activate credit/debit card’ feature, available on the OCBC Digital app and Internet Banking, lets you do that easily.

And if you ever need to temporarily suspend transactions made with your card, you can use the 'Lock/unlock card' feature on the OCBC Digital app.

In accordance with Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) regulations, any debit/credit or ATM card you apply for – whether newly issued or a replacement – will need to be activated before it can be used.
