Yes. Malaysian citizens who are Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs) or FIN-holders^ can open a GSA/PGSA. However, Malaysian citizens on short-term visit passes are not eligible to open a GSA/PGSA.

You can convert MYR directly to any other currency you hold, such as USD or AUD. When transferring funds out of your MYR wallet, the MYR will first be converted to SGD based on the prevailing exchange rate. Transfers to another person's GSA/PGSA or to external bank accounts are currently not supported.
No. You are unable to transfer your MYR funds in your GSA/PGSA to a Malaysian bank account at this time.
No. You are only able to fund your MYR GSA/PGSA using funds from your own accounts with OCBC Singapore.
Yes, you can withdraw Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) from any bank ATMs in Malaysia using your linked OCBC debit card. If you have sufficient MYR funds in your GSA/PGSA, the withdrawal will be deducted directly from your MYR balance, and no foreign exchange conversion fee will apply. If you do not have enough MYR in your GSA/PGSA, the amount may be deducted from your linked SGD account instead. In this case, a foreign exchange administration fee of 3.25% may apply. ATM withdrawal limit follows your daily debit card withdrawal limit or the balance of your MYR GSA/PGSA, whichever is lower. This is a shared limit for all transactions made with the debit card.
Please note that the ATM operator may also charge an additional ATM service fee. Fees may apply at non-bank ATMs.
An additional service charge, which may vary from operator to operator, may be imposed by ATMs in Malaysia operated by non-banks.
Holding MYR funds in your GSA/PGSA is currently only available for single name GSA/PGSA accounts (capped at one account per customer).
The minimum conversion amount is SGD 1 to the equivalent amount of MYR. You can convert up to MYR 50,000, subject to a maximum cap of MYR 50,000 balance on the account.
The conversion takes place in real time and is available 24/7.
There are no additional fees or charges for adding MYR to your GSA/PGSA.

Foreign Currency Deposits
Foreign currency deposits are subject to exchange rate fluctuations that may provide opportunities and risks. Earnings on foreign currency deposits would be dependent on the exchanges rates prevalent at the time of their maturity if any conversion takes place. Exchange controls may be applicable from time to time to certain foreign currencies. You should therefore determine whether any foreign currency deposit is suitable for you in the light of your investment objectives, financial means and risk profile. Any pre-termination costs will be deducted from your deposit.
