    1. What is the OCBC Pay AnyoneTM app about?

      OCBC Pay AnyoneTM app allows OCBC customers to send money to anyone and make NETS QR purchases. You can pay for your meals, shopping; taxi rides via QR code at NETS terminal at participating merchants and food centres. You can also request for money via a personalised QR code.

    2. What do I need to use OCBC Pay AnyoneTM

      You need at least an OCBC Online Banking account, an OCBC Savings or Current account and a supported smartphone. Please refer to point 7 for a list of supported smartphones.

    3. How can I enable this service?

      Download the OCBC Pay AnyoneTM app from the App Store or from Google Play Store for iPhone or Android devices, respectively.

    4. What is the daily transaction limit?

      For all PayNow transactions and NETS QR purchases, the limit is capped at S$200,000 daily for Personal Banking customers, and S$300,000 daily for Premier customers and above.

      For Non-PayNow transfers, the limit is capped at S$1,000 daily.

      For all ATM Cardless withdrawals, the limit is capped at S$1,000 daily.

    5. How do I know the payment is secure?

      You may also choose to authorise your payments/transfers seamlessly with fingerprint or Face ID on your mobile device using OCBC OneTouchTM or OCBC OneLookTM feature.

      You are required to login to OCBC Pay AnyoneTM using Online banking access code and PIN followed by a One-time password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number with OCBC Bank to make payment to NETS merchants or send money to anyone.

    6. How do I activate OCBC OneTouchTM/OneLookTM on OCBC Pay AnyoneTM app?

      To activate OCBC OneTouchTM/OneLookTM:

      • Step 1: Tap on the fingerprint/Face ID icon on OCBC Pay AnyoneTM app login page
      • Step 2: You will be prompted to perform activation using your Online Banking Access Code and PIN, followed by an OTP sent to your registered phone number with OCBC Bank
      • Step 3: You will be directed to a confirmation page. For your security, you will be automatically logout from the OCBC Pay AnyoneTM app
      • Step 4: On the log in page, tap on the fingerprint/Face ID icon on OCBC Pay AnyoneTM app login page
      • Step 5: Enter the OTP sent to your registered phone number with OCBC Bank and you are done!

      For your security, it is recommended that you only store your own fingerprint/Face ID on your mobile phone as anyone else who has access to your mobile phone is able to make payments via OCBC Pay AnyoneTM app.

    7. Can I activate OCBC OneTouchTM / OneLookTM for Pay AnyoneTM on multiple devices?

      No. You can only activate OCBC OneTouchTM / OneLookTM on one device at any time.

      Please note that if you activate OCBC OneTouchTM / OneLookTM on another device, the device that was previously activated will be deactivated and the new device will be activated with OCBC OneTouchTM / OneLookTM.

    8. What are the supported devices?

      OCBC OneTouchTM: Supported on iPhones running on iOS 10 & above, Samsung devices running on Android 4.4 and above, or other Android devices running on Android OS 6.0 and above with fingerprint recognition capabilities.

      OCBC OneLookTM: Supported on iPhone X.

      As a security measure, jail-broken devices are not supported.

    9. How do I deactivate OCBC OneTouchTM/OneLookTM on Pay AnyoneTM app?
      • Step-1: Login to the app
      • Step-2: Tap on the menu
      • Step-3: Tap on deactivate
    10. Do I need to pay for OCBC Pay AnyoneTM service?

      No, it is free of charge.

    11. What should I do if I lose my phone?

      If you lose your mobile phone, please call us at 1800-363 3333 (or +65 6363 3333 from overseas) to deactivate your OCBC OneTouchTM/OneLookTM on Pay AnyoneTM.

      Alternatively, you may register using another phone and the previous OCBC OneTouchTM/OneLookTM on Pay AnyoneTM will be de-registered automatically.

    12. Can I transfer money to the recipients through mobile number and email using OCBC Pay AnyoneTM app?

      Yes. You can transfer money to the recipients through mobile number, NRIC/FIN, Non-FI proxy and PayNow QR using OCBC Pay AnyoneTM app.

    13. What does transaction signing refer to?

      Payments above S$200 will require transaction signing for enhanced security. You will need your OneToken or hardware token to complete the transaction. There will be step-by-step instructions on-screen to guide you.

    14. How can I update my daily PayNow and NETS QR limit?

      Please login to OCBC Internet Banking to manage your PayNow and NETS QR daily limits. Kindly use a browser on your computer to do this.*

    15. How can I update my email address?

      Please login to OCBC Internet Banking or OCBC Digital app to add or update your email address.*

    *A cooling period will apply before these key account changes (add new payee, change email address/contact number or increase transaction limit) take effect. Please be guided by the on-screen instructions.

  • OCBC Pay Anyone™ App (QR code)

      Send money via PayNow using QR codes:

      1. What do I need to send money via PayNow using QR code?

        Step 1: Login to Pay Anyone

        using your fingerprint/Face ID/ Access Code and PIN followed by a OTP.

        Step 2:

        Upload or scan the PayNow QR image shared by the Requestor.

        Step 3:

        Verify recipient’s details, enter amount to pay and select account to pay from.

        Step 4:

        Tap on ‘Confirm Payment’ button after you have confirmed the payment details.

      2. What do I need to send money via PayNow using QR code?

        For individual:

        You can check the individual recipient's mobile no and registered name with PayNow displayed before confirming the transaction. If you are not sure, please check with the recipient.

        For Merchants:

        You can check the merchant’s UEN no and registered name with PayNow displayed before confirming the transaction. If you are not sure, please check with the recipient.

      3. Why wasn't I prompted to set a passcode when I send to a PayNow recipient?

        Pay Anyone is now enhanced to let you send money securely and conveniently to a PayNow recipient without the need to enter a passcode. The recipient’s PayNow name will be displayed to let you check before you proceed to send. Similarly, the PayNow recipient does not need any passcode; the money will be credited automatically into the recipient’s bank account.

      4. How will I know if I have transferred funds successfully?

        Click on the menu bar on the top left-hand corner when you open the OCBC Pay Anyone app. Select “My transactions” to check the status of your funds transfer.

        Alternatively, you can check if you have successfully transferred your funds via Online Banking transaction history.

      5. Can I send money using PayNow QR code without registering for PayNow?

        Yes, you can. The recipient needs to have registered for PayNow.

      6. Can I use Pay Anyone app to send money using PayNow QR code generated by other PayNow participation banks?

        Yes, you can use Pay Anyone to send money using PayNow QR generated by other PayNow participation banks.


      Make payment to merchants/food centres using NETS QR code


      1. Where can I make payments using QR code?

        You can make payment using QR code at participating merchants and hawker stalls that have NETS QR Terminals. Please visit the list of merchants here. You can also pay for your meals at participating hawkers. View full list of hawkers here.

      2. How do I make NETS QR payment for my purchases via this app?

      Request Money via PayNow QR Code:

      1. How do I generate my personalised PayNow QR Code using this app?

        Step 1: Tap on ‘Request’ tab and login with your fingerprint/Face ID or Access Code and PIN follow by a OTP.

        Step 2: Enter the requested amount

        Step 3: Tap on "Share QR code” button.

        Step 4: Select the appropriate messaging app such as WhatsApp, SMS, email, etc, to send the QR code to the sender.

      2. Can I still generate my personalised PayNow QR code using Pay Anyone app without linking my mobile number with PayNow?

        No, you need to link your mobile number to your OCBC account via PayNow in order to generate your personalised QR code.

      3. Can the sender use other bank’s banking app to send money using PayNow QR code generated via Pay Anyone?

        Yes, sender can use other PayNow participation bank’s banking app to send money using PayNow QR generated by Pay Anyone.


      PayNow - Sending Money

      1. What do I need in order to use PayNow to send money?

        • You must be an OCBC customer with Online Banking access code, PIN and SMS/hardware token

        • You must have at least one personal OCBC savings or current account.

        • You must have the recipient's PayNow registered Singapore NRIC, mobile number, UEN or personalised PayNow QR. You also need the recipient's PayNow name.

      2. Can I transfer money to a merchant via PayNow?

        Yes, you can transfer money to a merchant via PayNow using merchant’s UEN No or PayNow QR generated by the merchant.

      3. Do I need to link my Singapore NRIC or mobile number to PayNow to send money to my friend?

        No, you do not need to. You just need to check with the recipient if he/she is registered with PayNow and you need to have the recipient's Singapore NRIC number, mobile number, UEN or personalised PayNow QR.

      4. Where can i send money via PayNow?

        You can send money to anyone via OCBC Digital app, OCBC Online Banking or OCBC Pay Anyone™ app.

      5. Do I still need to inform a PayNow recipient of the passcode if I send money via OCBC Pay Anyone?

        No, you don't need to. This service is enhanced to check if the recipient is registered with PayNow and a passcode will not be required.

      6. What will happen if the recipient is not registered with PayNow?

        Currently, you will not be able to send money to a mobile number that is not registered with PayNow. You may try one of these methods:

        A. Select the recipient’s mobile number that is registered with PayNow. The recipient’s PayNow name will appear when you select the number.

        B. Select the recipient’s NRIC that is registered with PayNow.

        If the recipient is not registered with PayNow, you may ask them to link their mobile number or NRIC to their OCBC account via OCBC Digital Banking app or learn more at ocbc.com/paynow. For other banks, please ask them to visit the respective banks’ website.

      7. Is sending money via PayNow instant?

        The money is sent using FAST transfer, hence the money is transferred almost instantaneously.

      8. How do I check that I'm sending money to the correct recipient?

        You can check the recipient's registered name with PayNow which will be displayed before confirming the transaction. If you are not sure, please check with the recipient.

      9. What is the maximum amount limit that I can send money via PayNow?

        Personal Banking customers can send up to S$200,000 per day and Premier customers and above can send up to S$300,000 per day.

      10. I have sent S$200,000 using PayNow today. Can I still send money using OCBC Pay Anyone?

        The daily limit of S$200,000 (S$300,000 for Premier customers and above) is applicable to each customer for PayNow transactions and NETS QR purchases. You can still transfer up to S$1,000 for non-PayNow transfers.

      11. How will I know if i have transferred funds successfully via PayNow?

        You can check the status of your funds transfer via Online Banking transaction history.

      12. Can I send money to an international mobile number?

        Currently, you can only send money to mobile numbers registered with PayNow.

  • Cardless withdrawal via OCBC Pay Anyone™ FAQs

    1. What is the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service about?

      Cardless Cash Withdrawal is a service that enables OCBC customers to withdraw cash without an ATM/Credit/Debit Card and PIN at the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) through the Pay Anyone App. You can simply scan the QR code on the ATM screen with the OCBC Pay Anyone App to withdraw cash.

    2. When and where will the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service be available?

      Cardless Cash Withdrawal service will be progressively rolled out to all OCBC ATMs in Singapore only (except OCBC New ATMs) starting from 5 July 2019 and will be completed by 31 July 2019.

      The Cardless Cash Withdrawal service will not be available at UOB ATMs under the Shared ATM network or at OCBC ATMs overseas.

    3. Who can use the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service?

      The service is available to all OCBC customers who have OCBC Internet Banking access with eligible bank accounts linked to it, and the OCBC Pay Anyone App installed on their mobile phone.

    4. Is the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service available for corporate customers?

      No, the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service is only available to OCBC personal customers.

    5. Can I use the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service to withdraw from my child’s Child Development Account (CDA)?

      CDA is not an eligible bank account for cash withdrawals, including the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service.

    6. Can I use the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service to withdraw from my Foreign Currency Account?

      Foreign currency account is not an eligible bank account for the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service.

    7. How do I make a cardless cash withdrawal?

      Get started in these simple steps:

      At the ATM:

      Step 1: Tap on the “Withdraw cash with OCBC Pay Anyone” button at the bottom left corner of the ATM screen

      Step 2: A QR code will be generated and displayed on the ATM screen

      Step 3: Login to the OCBC Pay Anyone App on your mobile phone and scan the QR code

      Step 4: On the next screen, select the savings account you want to debit from and enter the amount to withdraw

      Step 5: Confirm the transaction on the OCBC Pay Anyone App

      Step 6: Collect the cash from the ATM

    8. Are there any fees for using the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service?

      There is no service fee for using the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service.

    9. What is the difference between cardless cash withdrawal and other cash withdrawals?

      For cardless cash withdrawal, you can withdraw cash by using the OCBC Pay Anyone App to scan the QR code on the ATM screen. Other cash withdrawals will require an ATM/Credit/Debit Card and its card PIN.

    10. What is the withdrawal limit for Cardless Cash Withdrawal service?

      The daily limit for cardless cash withdrawal is set at S$1,000.

    11. I have exceeded my ATM card withdrawal limit. Can I still perform a cardless cash withdrawal?

      Yes, you can still perform a cardless cash withdrawal as it has a separate limit from your ATM card withdrawal limit.

    12. I have exceeded my Pay Anyone/PayNow limit, can I still perform a cardless cash withdrawal?

      Yes, you can still perform a cardless cash withdrawal as it has a separate limit from your Pay Anyone/PayNow limit.

    13. Can I change the cardless cash withdrawal limit?

      No, you will not be able to change the cardless cash withdrawal daily limit of S$1,000.

    14. What should I do if I need to withdraw more than S$1,000?

      If you need to withdraw more than S$1,000, you can withdraw more funds by using your ATM card and PIN, as long as the withdrawal amount is within your card limit.

    15. What should I do if I change my mind and decided not to proceed with the cardless cash withdrawal transaction?

      You can press the cancel button on the ATM keypad and logout from the OCBC Pay Anyone App to discontinue with the cash withdrawal transaction.

    16. I did not get a receipt for the cardless cash withdrawal transaction. Where can I check my transaction details?

      You can find your cardless cash withdrawal transaction details in the OCBC Pay Anyone App under ‘History’. The transaction will also be shown in your monthly bank statement.

    17. Will I receive any notifications from the bank for the cardless cash withdrawal transaction?

      An automated SMS alert will be sent to your mobile number registered with the bank for successful and unsuccessful cardless cash withdrawal transactions.

    18. When will the money be deducted from my account?

      The amount withdrawn will be deducted from your bank account immediately.

    19. Is the cardless cash withdrawal secure?

      Yes, you will need to log in securely to the OCBC Pay Anyone App in order to perform the withdrawal. In addition, the QR code generated for each transaction is unique and cannot be reused.

    20. I do not wish to use the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service. Can I opt-out from the service?

      Yes, you may do so. Simply go to “Settings” in the OCBC Pay Anyone App to opt-out from the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service.

    21. Will I receive any notifications from the bank when I opt-in or opt-out from the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service?

      Yes, a SMS alert will be sent to your mobile number registered with the bank when you opt-in from the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service.

    22. Is Cardless Cash Withdrawal service available on the OCBC Digital app?

      No. The Cardless Cash Withdrawal service is currently only available through the OCBC Pay Anyone app.
