^Foreign currency transactions are converted to local currency based on the rate determined by the respective card associations. Costs incurred by the Bank due to this currency conversion, together with the administrative fee, will be debited to your account as part of the foreign currency transaction.

Your SGD account and Global Savings Account might be linked to the same debit card. If that is the case, the withdrawal will be charged to your SGD account if:

  • There are insufficient funds in the relevant foreign currency in your Global Savings Account; or
  • You do not hold the relevant foreign currency in your Global Savings Account.
