Common questions
When will my incoming funds (inward telegraphic transfer) be credited (deposited) into my account?

If your incoming funds (inward telegraphic transfer) is one of the enabled currencies in your account then it will be immediate. If, however, the incoming funds (inward telegraphic transfer) is not enabled, it will take T+2 days as the currency will need to be enabled before deposit can take place.

What happens if I have incoming funds (inward telegraphic transfer) in one of the available currencies but I have not enabled it?

The currency will be automatically be enabled. It will take T+2 days for the currency to be enabled before any deposit can take place.

What will happen if I have incoming funds (inward telegraphic transfer) that is not one of the available currencies?

These funds will automatically be deposited into USD. USD will be enabled if you do not already have it enabled.

I am an existing customer with FCY Call Account, can I convert to the OCBC Multi-currency Business Account and keep my existing account number?

Yes, you can. You will need to have a new Board Resolution signed in order to convert. This is because the Multi-currency Business Account will automatically enable and deposit your inward telegraphic transfer into the relevant currency (if available). Plus, non-available currencies will be deposited into USD.
