Terms and Conditions of OCBC CNY Promotion on New Moon New Zealand abalone (425g) at Selected Paradise Group Restaurants
Promotion period
- The qualifying spend period will be between 28 January 2013 and 24 February 2013 (including both dates). The redemption is available daily, including eves of and on public holidays.
Who is eligible for the promotion
- All OCBC Cardmembers are eligible to redeem one (1) free can of New Zealand abalone (425g) if a cardmember is a principal or supplementary cardholder of an OCBC credit card or a debit card(other than private label cards and corporate cards) which is in good standing and is one of the first (40) OCBC Cardmembers who spends a minimum of S$888 (excluding goods and services tax) at the selected Paradise Group restaurants in a single receipt.
How to qualify for the redemption
- To redeem the free abalone, OCBC Cardmembers need to spend a minimum of S$888 at the following 5 Paradise Group restaurant outlets for dine-in purposes:

- There are 40 cans of abalone to be redeemed at each outlet. The abalone is available for redemption on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to stock availability.
- Each OCBC Cardmember is entitled to redeem only one (1) can of abalone per day per bill regardless of the amount spent (as long as the minimum spend of S$888 is met). Assuming an OCBC Cardmember spends S$1,776 in a charge slip on 28 January 2013, he is only eligible to redeem one (1) can of abalone. If you make further spend of S$888 on 30 January 2013, he is eligible to redeem another can of abalone, subject to stock availability at the outlet.
- OCBC reserves the right to debit the retail value of the redeemed item from any account of a OCBC cardmember in the event that the cardmember who has successfully redeemed the abalone i) makes multiple gift redemptions on the same day; or ii) terminates the card account within six (6) months from 24 February 2013; or iii) reverses any of the transactions made during the promotion period.
General terms and conditions
- OCBC Cardmembers cannot exchange the gift under this promotion for cash, credit or other benefits. OCBC has the right to substitute the gift with an item of similar value.
- OCBC will not be responsible if any gift you redeem is of poor quality, is not suitable to be sold or used or is not fit for any purpose. OCBC will not be responsible or held liable for any damage to or fault in any gift, or for any loss, injury or harm any person suffers in connection with using any gift.
- OCBC has the right to end this promotion or change any terms and conditions at any time without giving you notice. This includes changing the rules relating to who is eligible for the promotion and the dates of the promotion.
- OCBC Cardmembers allow OCBC to reveal information about the cardmember or the cardmember's account to any person (including the people involved in organising, promoting and carrying out the promotion) as OCBC sees fit.
- Merchant's terms and conditions apply. All purchases are subject to prevailing government taxes and service charges where applicable.
- OCBC's decision on all matters relating to this promotion will be final and binding on all participants. If there is any difference between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the promotion, these terms and conditions will prevail.
- The laws of Singapore apply to these terms and conditions, and any disputes between any OCBC Cardmember and OCBC will be dealt with in the courts of Singapore. Under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B), a person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions does not have the right to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
