Terms and Conditions Governing OCBC Cash Promotion

The following terms and conditions shall apply to the OCBC Cash Promotion (the “Promotion”).

1. The Promotion is applicable only to recipients of the direct mailer (the “Eligible Customer”).
2. To participate in this Promotion, customer will need to register via sms in the following format: SMS CASH to 72377. Attempts to register in a format differing from the above composition will be invalid and void.
3. The Promotion ends on 16 May 2012 or such date(s) as may be determined and notified by OCBC Bank in its sole discretion (“Promotion Period”)
4. An “Eligible Account” refers to the individual (personal) savings and current accounts (but excluding Bonus+ and Dividend+) held with OCBC and an “Eligible Transaction” refers to fresh funds deposited into an Eligible Account in a minimum of S$30,000, S$50,000 or S$100,000 per placement.
5. “Fresh Funds” refers to deposit placements not transferred from existing OCBC Bank deposit accounts and in the form of non OCBC cheques/cashiers’ order.
6. Eligible customers who perform an Eligible Transaction during the Promotion Period will receive a cash credit (“Incentive”) corresponding to the minimum placement amounts as follows: S$50 cash credit with minimum S$30,000 per placement, S$100 cash credit with minimum S$50,000 per placement and S$200 cash credit with minimum S$100,000 per placement.
7. Limited to the first 300 Eligible Transactions for S$50 cash credit, first 150 Eligible Transactions for S$100 cash credit and first 50 Eligible Transactions for S$200 cash credit. Call us at 1800 363 3333 to check on eligibility.
8. The Eligible Customer shall place the amount into the Eligible Account for a period of at least 6 months from the date of Eligible Transaction (“Placement Period”).
9. In the event that the Eligible Customer who has received the cash credit withdraws the sum, whether in whole or in part from the Eligible Account before the expiry of the Placement Period, OCBC Bank shall be entitled to debit the value of the cash credit as it deems fit from the Eligible Account or any other OCBC Bank account of the Eligible Customer.
10. The Incentive will be credited to the Eligible Account where the Fresh Funds are deposited into within 7 working days of successful deposit placement date.
11. The eligibility of a customer to receive the Incentive shall be determined at the absolute discretion of OCBC Bank.
12. OCBC Bank reserves the right to disqualify any person whom in the opinion of OCBC Bank (which opinion shall be final and conclusive) is disqualified from receiving the Incentive and in the event that the Incentive has been awarded, to reclaim or withdraw the Incentive from such person, including but not limited to, debiting the value of the Incentive from such person’s account. OCBC Bank reserves the right to correct any errors in its award of any Incentive to any person at any time without notice. No person shall be entitled to any payment or compensation from OCBC Bank should any person be disqualified from receiving any Incentive or the Incentive be forfeited, reclaimed or withdrawn.
13. OCBC Bank reserves the right to waive/vary/amend any of these terms and conditions without notice. The decision of OCBC Bank on all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and binding.
14. Singapore dollar deposits held by or for a non-bank depositor in accounts listed in OCBC Bank’s Insured Deposit Register (available at www.ocbc.com/policies) will be insured in accordance with and for up to the limits specified in the Deposit Insurance and Policy Owners’ Protection Schemes Act 2011 of Singapore
