Important Notice for Mobile Software Token Users 

(Not applicable for SMS or Hardware Token users):

Discontinuation of Mobile Software Token as 2nd Factor Authentication (2FA)

 

Dear Valued Customer,

We wish to inform you that from 21 June 2012 we will be discontinuing the use of Mobile Software Token as 2nd Factor Authentication (2FA) for OCBC Online Banking. If you are currently using the mobile software token, we will automatically enable the SMS token for your 2nd Factor Authentication.

With an SMS token for 2FA, you will receive a One-Time-Password sent via SMS to your registered mobile phone number whenever you log in to OCBC Online Banking.

Please update your mobile phone number through Online Banking or at any of our ATMs.

In case you wish to switch to an SMS token immediately or to a hardware token, you can do so through our OCBC ATMs at any time by following the steps below:

  1. Select 'More Services'
  2. Select 'Internet / Mobile / Phone Banking'
  3. Select 'Internet / Mobile Banking 2FA Services'
  4. Select '2FA Token Switching'
  5. Select either 'SMS Token' or 'Hardware Token' and follow the on-screen instructions
