OCBC $5 Cashback Promotion

 

Get $5 cashback when you charge at least $500 cumulative over 5 transactions or more via NETS from 20 November 2015 to 31 December 2015!

 

 

Eligibility

  1. A person (an "account holder") who holds an ATM card issued by OCBC (the "Card"), that is linked to his/her Current/Savings Account excluding Child-Development Accounts and Corporate Accounts, whose account is in good standing with OCBC (as determined by OCBC at its sole discretion) and who satisfies these terms and conditions shall be eligible to participate in this promotion. If the Card or account held by an account holder is suspended or cancelled or terminated by OCBC for any reason whatsoever before the crediting of the rebates, the account holder will not be eligible to receive the rebates (notwithstanding that his/her other banking facilities may not have been suspended or cancelled or terminated).

Terms and Conditions

  1. The first 5,000 customers who charge at least S$500 cumulative over 5 transactions or more via NETS on their OCBC ATM Card from 20 Novemnber 2015 to 31 December 2015 will receive a one time S$5 rebate.
  2. This promotion is only applicable to transactions charged to NETS on OCBC Cards.
  3. Qualified spend for the promotion include retail transactions, Mail Order/Telephone Order transactions and Internet transactions, but exclude AXS Station, iNETS, Networks for Electronics Transfer, S.A.M., Singpost transactions and bank charges which are posted during the Promotion Period ("Qualified Spend"). For the avoidance of doubt, ATM withdrawal transactions from deposit accounts are excluded in the definition of Qualified Spend. Transactions made to or relating to PayAssist accounts are excluded from the definition of Qualified Spend. Notwithstanding any other provision in these terms and conditions, OCBC reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to determine the type of Qualified Spend which qualifies under this promotion. If OCBC in its sole and absolute discretion decides that any transaction does not qualify under this promotion, no rebates will be awarded
  4. Rebates will be credited to the successful OCBC account by 31 January 2016 if you are successful in receiving the rebates.
  5. OCBC reserves the right to change or substitute the rebates with any item of similar value without notice.
  6. OCBC reserves the right at its absolute discretion to terminate this promotion or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions at any time without notice including without limitation, the eligibility of any account holder and the dates of this promotion.
  7. All participants in this promotion irrevocably permit and authorise OCBC to disclose, reveal and divulge information regarding their information and particulars to any person (including but not limiting to the parties involved in organising, promoting and conducting this Promotion) as OCBC deems fit.
  8. OCBC decision on all matters relating to this promotion shall be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence or appeal shall be entertained by OCBC.
  9. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material, these terms and conditions will prevail.
  10. OCBC shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any person in connection with this promotion howsoever arising, including any error in computing chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment, any notice which is misdirected or lost in the post.
  11. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participants shall irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
