Terms and
Conditions Governing OCBC January 2010 Spend and Redeem Promotion (the
“Promotion”)
Promotion
Period
- The Promotion
Period shall be between 14 January and 13 February 2010 (both dates
inclusive) or such other period as may be determined by Oversea-Chinese
Banking Corporation Limited (“OCBC”) in its absolute discretion.
Eligibility
- Only the
following customers may qualify for the Promotion:-
- Existing OCBC
credit cardmember who has received a direct mailer, inviting him/her to
participate in this Promotion and
- Whose OCBC
Credit Card account is in good standing with OCBC within the promotion
period shall be eligible to participate in the Promotion (“Eligible
Cardmember”).
- The promotion is
applicable to first 500 selected OCBC Credit Cardmembers with the selected
OCBC Credit Card type mentioned in the direct mailer that have charged ANY
purchase to the targeted card on a retail purchase within the
promotion period stated in the direct mailer.
- The Retail
Spending must be made and posted to the OCBC Credit Card account of the
Eligible Cardmember within the Promotion Period.
- Only Retail
Spending of primary cardmembers will be considered as spending by the
Eligible Cardmember in the computation of Retail Spending.
- Cash advance
transactions, Internet transactions, mail order transactions, phone order
transactions, balance transfers, balance transfer transactions, CashWise,
recurring charges, existing instalment charges, bank charges, finance and
late charges, are not eligible
in the computation of Retail Spending.

FairPrice voucher with ANY purchase charged to OCBC Credit Card
7. A
redemption letter with the FairPrice voucher will be mailed by OCBC (by
ordinary post) to the Eligible Cardmember within 30 working days from end of
the Promotion period. The
Eligible Cardmember’s account must be active and in good standing at the time
of crediting.
8. OCBC reserves the right to amend or
withdraw the offer at any time without prior notice.
9. Subject to
the foregoing, the offer is not transferable and not exchangeable for cash,
credit or kind.
Miscellaneous
- The decision of
OCBC on all matters relating to this Promotion will be at its absolute
discretion and will be final and binding on all participants. No
correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency
between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or
promotional material relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions
will prevail.
- OCBC shall not
be responsible for any loss to or expenses incurred by any Eligible or any
other person in connection with the Promotion, howsoever arising,
including any error in computation, any breakdown or malfunction in any
computer system or equipment.
- OCBC reserves
the right at its absolute discretion to terminate this Promotion at any
time or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time
to time without notice including without limitation, the eligibility of
any Eligible, the methods of computation and the Promotion Period.
- These terms and
conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore
and the participants in the Promotion irrevocably submit to the
non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. A person who is not
a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have
no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to
enforce any of these terms and conditions.
