Terms and Conditions Governing the OCBC Ladies’ S$ Time Deposit Promotion
The following terms and conditions shall apply to the OCBC Ladies’ S$ Time Deposit Promotion (the “Promotion”).
1. This Promotion is open to all Eligible customers as defined in these terms and conditions only.
2. This promotion shall be valid from 2 April 2010 until such date(s) as may be determined and notified by OCBC Bank in its sole discretion from time to time.
3. “Eligible customer” means any female individual who is a holder of an existing OCBC SmartSavings account.
4. All promotional interest rates and tenors are valid for a limited period only and are subject to change by OCBC Bank in its sole discretion without prior notice.
5. This Promotion applies to the following:-
a. any Eligible customer who is renewing one or more Ladies' S$ Time Deposit(s) that are maturing or will mature on or after 2 April 2010 till the end of this Promotion; and/or
b. any Eligible customer who places one or more Ladies' S$ Time Deposit(s) in her S$ Time Deposit Account by way of fresh funds only. (Fresh funds refers to funds not transferred from existing OCBC Bank deposit accounts.)
6. This Promotion is not valid with other offers or promotions unless otherwise stated.
7. For Eligible customers, the promotional interest rates are as follow:

8. Only S$ Time Deposit Account solely in the name of the applicant is allowed for the placement of the OCBC Ladies’ S$ Time Deposit.
9. Pre-Mature Withdrawal Fee: No interest, whether accrued or not, will be payable for any premature withdrawal of the OCBC Ladies’ S$ Time Deposit and OCBC Bank shall be entitled to withhold any interest accrued. In addition, in the event of premature withdrawal, OCBC Bank shall be entitled to charge a fee for an amount equivalent to 0.15% of the original principal amount of monies placed with OCBC Bank on the Ladies’ S$ Time deposit.
10. OCBC Bank reserves the right to waive/vary/amend any of these terms and conditions without prior notice. The decision of OCBC Bank on all matters relating to this offer shall be final and binding.
11. The OCBC Terms and Conditions Governing Deposit (available at www.ocbc.com/tandc ) apply.
12. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
13. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participants in the Promotion irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
14. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Right of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
