Terms and Conditions Governing the OCBC Easi-Pay Bill Payment Service Promotion (the “Promotion”)

 

Promotion Period

 

  1. The Promotion Period shall be between 6 August 2008 and 31 December 2008 (both dates inclusive) or such the period as may be determined by Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (“OCBC”) in its absolute discretion. 

 

 

Eligibility

 

  1. A person who:-

 

a)       holds a Visa/MasterCard credit card as a principal credit cardmember issued by OCBC (the “OCBC Credit Card”); and

 

b)      whose OCBC Credit Card account is in good standing with OCBC at the time of receiving the SMS (as determined by OCBC at its sole discretion),

 

shall be eligible to participate in the Promotion (anEligible Cardmember”) .

 

  1. The OCBC Fairprice Plus Cards, Debit Cards, Corporate Cards and Private Label Cards are not eligible for this Promotion

 

  1. The first 500 Eligible Cardmembers who successfully enroll for OCBC Easi-Pay Bill Service before 31 December 2008 shall received a free S$5 Starbucks voucher.

 

  1. The Redemption Gifts shall be available for redemption by Cardmembers on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited to the first 500 Eligible Cardmembers.

 

  1. Cardmembers with existing payment arrangements on their OCBC Credit Cards with the selected merchants are not eligible for the Starbucks voucher redemption.

 

  1. Limited strictly to one redemption per Eligible Cardmember. No reservation is allowed.

 

 

Redemption Gift

 

  1. The Starbucks voucher will be mailed by OCBC (via ordinary post) to the Eligible Cardmember between six(6) to eight(8) weeks from the end date of the Promotion Period. Each Starbucks voucher is worth S$5.

 

  1. The Eligible Cardmember shall accept the Redemption Gift on an “as is where is” basis.

 

  1. OCBC shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability or the fitness for any purpose or any other aspect of the Redemption Gift. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, OCBC shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any damage or defect in any Redemption Gifts, and/or for any loss, injury, damage or harm suffered or incurred by or in connection with the use or consumption of any items in the Redemption Gifts by any person.

 

  1. The OCBC Credit Card account must be in good standing (as determined by OCBC at its sole discretion) to qualify for the redemption.

 

  1. OCBC is entitled (at its discretion) to withdraw or substitute the Redemption Gift with any other items without prior notice and without assigning any reason therefore.

 

  1. Subject to the foregoing, the Redemption Gift is not transferable and not exchangeable for cash, credit or kind.

 

 

Miscellaneous

 

  1. The decision of OCBC on all matters relating to this Promotion will be at its absolute discretion and will be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions will prevail.

 

  1. OCBC shall not be responsible for any loss to or expenses incurred by any Eligible Cardmember or any other person in connection with the Promotion, howsoever arising, including any error in computation, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment.

 

  1. OCBC reserves the right at its absolute discretion to terminate this Promotion at any time or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice including without limitation, the eligibility of any Eligible Cardmember, the methods of computation and the Promotion Period.

 

  1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participants in the Promotion irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore . A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
