1.       The Promotion Period shall be between 1 July 2008 and 31 December 2008 (both dates inclusive) or such other period as may be determined by Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (“OCBC”) in its absolute discretion.

2.       Any person who is:-

(a)           a new applicant who successfully opens a EasiCredit account with OCBC during the Promotion Period; or

(b)           an existing EasiCredit account holder in good standing with OCBC during the Promotion Period

(each, an "Eligible Customer" and collectively, the "Eligible Customers”), shall be eligible to participate in this Promotion.

3.       If the EasiCredit account of any Eligible Customer is suspended by OCBC or cancelled or terminated by either the Eligible Customer or OCBC for any reason whatsoever before the Draw or the Eligible Customer dies, the Eligible Customer will not be eligible to participate in the Draw. All chances allocated to such Eligible Customer shall be automatically forfeited unless transferred at the discretion of OCBC in accordance with these terms and conditions.

4.       Employees of OCBC, its related companies, its advertising agencies and any other parties who are directly involved in organising, promoting or conducting the Draw as determined by OCBC are not eligible to participate in the Draw.

5.       The following number of chances will be awarded to each Eligible Customer for the following events occurring within the Promotion Period:-

6.       Chances shall be awarded on a monthly basis (and shall be accumulated only for the purpose of the final Monthly Draw to be conducted on 14 January 2009) based on the average debit balance of such month in the EasiCredit account of an Eligible Customer and determined by OCBC at its discretion. The average debit balance in a month is calculated based on the sum of all daily debit balances divided by the number of days in that month.

7.       The number of chances allocated to an Eligible Customer shall be final and conclusive and (save as expressly provided in these terms and conditions) are not transferable. OCBC may in its absolute discretion, transfer any of the chances accumulated by an Eligible Customer which are forfeited (as described above) to any other Eligible Customer.

8.       There will be a total of six (6) monthly draws (the “Monthly Draws” and each, a “Monthly Draw”). Each Monthly Draw shall be held on the following dates in public at OCBCCentre Branch 65 Chulia Street #01-00 OCBC Centre Singapore 049513 at 3:00pm (or on such other date or time or at such other venue as may be determined by OCBC).

(c)      15 October 2008

(d)      12 November 2008

(f)       14 January 2009

9.       There will be one (1) prize winner at each Monthly Draw. Each prize winner will be manually selected at random by OCBC under the supervision of OCBC’s auditors. OCBC reserves the right to draw reserve winners to replace any person subsequently found to be disqualified. Each prize winner will be notified by ordinary post (sent to their respective addresses in the records of OCBC) within 5 working days from the date of each Monthly Draw, which will notify the prize winner of his/her win and the details on how to collect/claim his/her Prize.

10.    Where the Prize remains unclaimed for 2 months after the date of the last Monthly Draw on 14 January 2009, it will be forfeited and donated to any charitable organization as OCBC may determine.

11.    Each prize winner will receive a gadget (each, a “Prize”) of his choice from the list of gadgets featured in the 100 Most Wanted Gadgets promotional brochures issued by OCBC in the month of the draw, which Prize value shall not exceed S$2,500.

12.    The results of the Monthly Draws will be published in a major newspaper in Singapore as determined by OCBC Bank within 7 working days of the date of final Monthly Draw.

13.    OCBC shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability or the fitness for any purpose or any other aspect of the Prize. Notwithstanding anything herein, OCBC shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any defect or malfunction in the Prize by any person.

14.    If any prize winner is subsequently discovered to be not entitled or ineligible to participate in the Draw or ineligible to receive the Prize, OCBC may forfeit/reclaim the Prize at its discretion and confer the same on such other person as may be selected in such manner as OCBC Bank deems fit. No person shall be entitled to any payment or compensation from OCBC should any Prize be forfeited.

15.    Each prize winner shall maintain an existing EasiCredit account from the commencement of the Draw up to (and including) the date on which the Prize is collected.

16.    OCBC may at its sole discretion substitute or replace any Prize (whether or not chosen by any winner) with any other prize (including in kind) of equal or similar value selected by it without prior notice. The prizes are non-transferable and are not exchangeable for cash (if substituted) or for any other item.

17.    Each prize winner agrees to co-operate with and participate in any advertising or publicity activities of OCBC relating to the Draw and agrees that OCBC may publicise his name and/or photograph in such mode and manner as OCBC considers fit.

18.    Without prejudice to these terms and conditions, all participants in the Draw expressly and irrevocably permit and authorise OCBC to disclose, reveal and divulge information regarding their particulars to the parties involved in organising, promoting and conducting the Draw for the purposes of the Draw.

19.    OCBC's decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be at its absolute discretion and will be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Draw, these terms and conditions will prevail.

20.    OCBC reserves the right at its absolute discretion to terminate the Draw (or part thereof) or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice including without limitation, the eligibility of any EasiCredit accountholder, the bases and methods of identification of winners and the date of the Draw.

21.    OCBC shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising in connection with this Promotion, including any act or omission relating to the participation of any Eligible Customer howsoever caused, any error in computing any draw chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment and any notice which is misdirected or lost in the post.

22.    These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and the participants in the Draw irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.
