TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERNING THE “OCBC ROBINSONS VISA PLATINUM CARD REFERRAL PROMOTION AUGUST 2009" (THE "PROMOTION")
1. To be eligible for the Promotion:
(a) Principal cardmember must have been issued with an OCBC Robinsons Visa Platinum Card between 6 August 2009 and 30 September 2009 (the “Promotional Period”) with a minimum of S$200 charged to the Card within 1 month of the Card approval may qualify for the Promotion (the “Cardmember”);
(b) The Cardmember must have been introduced by an existing OCBC Robinsons Visa Platinum Cardmember;
(c) Cardmember‘s Card must not have been a replacement for their OCBC Robinsons VISA Card; and
(d) Applications must be submitted using the specific form provided for the Promotion.
2a) Eligible Introducers who successfully refer 1 to 4 Cardmembers are entitled to receive a reward in the form of a S$15 credit into their respective OCBC Robinsons Visa Platinum Card Accounts (each a “Reward”) for each Cardmember successfully referred through the Promotion. The Introducer must be an existing OCBC Robinsons Visa Platinum Cardmember.
b) Eligible Introducers who successfully refer 5 or more Cardmembers are entitled to receive a reward in the form of a S$20 credit into their respective OCBC Robinsons Visa Platinum Card Accounts (each a “Reward”) for each Cardmember successfully referred through the Promotion.
c) Eligible Cardmembers are entitled to receive a reward in the form of a S$10 cash back credited into their respective OCBC Robinsons Visa Platinum Card Accounts for every S$200 charged to the Card within 1 month of Card approval.
The reward for each eligible Cardmember is limited to a maximum of S$20, provided a minimum of S$400 is charged to the Card within 1 month of Card approval.
3. The Rewards will be credited into the eligible Card accounts by 30 November 2009.
4. The Reward cannot be exchanged for cash, kind, or other items of similar value or otherwise.
5. OCBC is entitled (at its discretion) to withdraw or substitute any Reward with any other items without prior notice and without assigning any reason therefor.
6. OCBC shall not be responsible for any loss to or expenses incurred by any participant or any other person in connection with the Promotion, howsoever arising, including any error in computation, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment.
7. OCBC is entitled (at its absolute discretion) to terminate this Promotion or to vary/amend/delete/add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice, including without limitation, the eligibility of any customer, methods of computation and the dates of the Promotion.
8. The decision of OCBC on all matters relating to this Promotion will be at its absolute discretion and will be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence shall be entertained.
9. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to this Promotion, these terms and conditions will prevail.
10. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions. Without prejudice to the generality of the above, the consent of any third party is not required for the variation or termination of these terms and conditions.
11. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participants in this Promotion irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
