Promotion Period

1. The Promotion Period shall be between 15 January and 14 February 2009 (both dates inclusive) or such other period as may be determined by Overseas-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (“OCBC”) in its absolute discretion.

Eligibility

2. Only the following customers may qualify for the Promotion:-
1. Existing OCBC credit cardmember who has received a direct mailer, inviting him/her to participate in this Promotion and
2. whose OCBC Credit Card account is in good standing with OCBC within the promotion period shall be eligible to participate in the Promotion ( “Eligible Cardmember”).

3. The promotion is applicable to the first 300 selected OCBC Credit Cardmembers who have made retail transactions on the specified card during the Promotional Period to the targeted card as specified in the direct mailer on retail transactions within the promotion period. A short messaging service (“SMS”) text in the following prescribed format must be sent to be eligible for the rebate:

        REBATE<space>NRIC to 76062

4. The Retail Spending must be made and posted to the OCBC Credit Card account of the Eligible Cardmember within the Promotion Period.

5. Limited strictly to a maximum of S$50 per rebate per Eligible Cardmember. For avoidance of doubt, each Eligible Cardmember shall not be eligible for the Rebate in other Tiers.

6. This Promotion does not apply to 0% Instalment Plans, Cash Advances, Balance Transfers and CashWise transactions.

 

Rebate

7. If eligible, the OCBC Credit Cardmember’s account will be credited with a single payment of the Rebate by 15 March 2010. The Eligible Cardmember’s account must be active and in good standing at the time of crediting.

8. The rebate will be computed based on retail transactions made during the Promotional Period on the targeted card as specified in the direct mailer.

9. OCBC reserves the right to select the appropriate credit card account to credit the rebate.

10. OCBC reserves the right to amend or withdraw the offer at any time without prior notice.

11. Subject to the foregoing, the offer is not transferable and not exchangeable for cash, credit or kind.

Miscellaneous

12. The decision of OCBC on all matters relating to this Promotion will be at its absolute discretion and will be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions will prevail.

13. OCBC shall not be responsible for any loss to or expenses incurred by any Eligible or any other person in connection with the Promotion, howsoever arising, including any error in computation, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment.

14. OCBC reserves the right at its absolute discretion to terminate this Promotion at any time or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice including without limitation, the eligibility of any Eligible, the methods of computation and the Promotion Period.

15. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participants in the Promotion irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
