Terms and Conditions Governing OCBC GREAT SINGAPORE SALE Spend & Redeem 2010 Promotion (THE "SPEND AND REDEEM")
Promotion Period
- The Promotion Period shall be between 28 May and 31 July 2010 (both dates inclusive) or such other period as may be determined by Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (the "OCBC") in its absolute discretion.
Eligibility
- A person who holds a OCBC generic and/or a co-brand and/or an affinity Credit Card, FairPrice Plus/ Uplus Credit Card (other than Private Label Cards, Debit Cards and Corporate Cards) as a principal credit card member issued by OCBC (the "OCBC Credit Card") whose credit card account is in good standing with OCBC (as determined by OCBC at its sole discretion) shall be eligible to participate in the Promotion ("Cardmember").
Proof of Transactions
- All redemptions have to be evidenced by a maximum of 9 combined original customer charge slips together with the eligible OCBC Credit Card and NRIC of the relevant Credit Cardmember (upon request) at the OCBC redemption booth at VivoCity. All qualifying spend must be made on the same OCBC Credit Card to qualify for the redemption.
- The original charge slips can only be used for the redemption of one (1) of the Redemption Items (i.e. either an Exclusive Sony PSP® (PlayStation Portable), an “Appetite for Life” Dining Voucher, VivoCity Gift Voucher, Must Collectible Charm or 12 months subscription with Mio TV Barclays Premier League 2010/11 & ESPN STAR Sports Package). Charge slips used to redeem for any gift cannot be presented again for other gifts redemption.
- Cardmembers are not permitted to aggregate spending between Principal and Supplementary cardmembers.
- The qualifying transactions for Spend & Redeem include retail transactions made locally but exclude recurring payment transactions, cash advances, balance transfers and transactions incurred overseas, online or via phone. Only transactions made with OCBC Credit Cards with valid hardcopy Charge Slip/s will be recognized for the gifts redemption.
- For new instalment plans, only the first instalment amount charged to the OCBC Credit Card with charge slip/s can be used as qualifying spend for the gift redemption. The rest of the unbilled instalment amount will not be taken into consideration for redemption purposes. Existing instalment plans will not be taken into account for redemption.
Redemption Items and Spending Tiers
- To redeem for an Exclusive Sony PSP® (PlayStation Portable) worth S$325, cardmember must charge a minimum amount of S$5,600 from 28 May to 31 July 2010 to his/her OCBC Credit Card. Limited to the first 1,000 redemptions. Available in 2 designs – Summer Pink and Racing Orange.
- To redeem for an “Appetite for Life” Dining Voucher worth S$70 at Alligator Pear/ Prego, Fairmont Singapore, cardmember must charge a minimum amount of S$2,600 and above from 28 May to 31 July 2010 to his/her OCBC Credit Card. A redemption letter will be issued out to qualifying cardmembers at the OCBC Redemption Booth. Limited to the first 1500 redemptions.
- To redeem for a $20 VivoCity Gift Voucher, cardmember must charge a minimum amount of S$600 from 28 May to 31 July 2010 to his/her OCBC Credit Card. Limited to the first 2000 redemptions.
- To redeem Must Collectible Charms worth S$28, cardmember must charge a minimum amount of S$60 from 28 May to 31 July 2010 to his/her OCBC Credit Card. Limited to the first 1,500 redemptions per design. The Must Collectible Charms are available in 4 designs – Must Explore, Must Savour, Must Enjoy and Must Have – with one design released every fortnight in the order stated.
- To redeem for 12 months subscription with Mio TV Barclays Premier League 2010/11 & ESPN STAR Sports Package (worth up to $433.60), cardmember must charge a minimum amount of S$7,000 and above from 28 May to 30 Jun 2010 to his/her OCBC Credit Card. Limited to the first 200 redemptions.
- The Great Singapore Sale Spend & Redeem 2010 is limited to one gift per Cardmember per day regardless of the amount accumulated in the charge slips as long as the minimum spend requirement to redeem the gift item has been reached.
- Charge slips used to redeem for Great Singapore Sale Spend & Redeem 2010 items cannot be presented again for other Credit Card redemption/ promotion.
Redemption Items, Quantity and Locations
- All redemption items are available for redemption strictly on a while stocks last basis.
- 20% of OCBC Great Singapore Spend & Redeem 2010 treats are allocated for redemption by FairPrice Plus/ Uplus Credit Cardmembers, and 80% for all other OCBC Credit Cardmembers (except for the redemption of Mio TV Barclays Premier League 2010/11 & ESPN STAR Sports Package)
- In the event of that any item is unavailable at point of redemption; OCBC BANK reserves the right to substitute with item of equal value.
- Redemption of Exclusive Sony PSP® (PlayStation Portable), an “Appetite for Life” Dining Voucher, VivoCity Gift Voucher, Must Collectible Charm or 12 months subscription with Mio TV Barclays Premier League 2010/11 & ESPN STAR Sports Package is available at the OCBC Redemption Booth located at VivoCity, West Boulevard Level 1, Lobby B. (Address: 1 HarbourFront Walk, VivoCity, Singapore 098585). Redemption hours are from 11am to 9pm daily.
General
- The redemption items and/or gifts are not exchangeable for cash, credit or kind in all cases, whether in whole or in part. OCBC Bank reserves the right to substitute any of the above redemption items and/or gifts with an item of similar value.
- OCBC Bank shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability or the fitness for any purpose or any other aspect of any redemption items and/or gifts.
- Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, OCBC Bank shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any damage or defect in any gift, and/or for any loss, injury, damage or harm suffered or incurred by or in connection with any gift by any person.
- OCBC Bank reserves the right at its absolute discretion to terminate this Promotion or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice including without limitation, the eligibility of any cardmember and the dates of the Promotion.
- OCBC Bank’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be at its absolute discretion and will be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions will prevail.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participants in the Promotion irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
