Terms and Conditions Governing OCBC Credit cards GREAT SINGAPORE SALE REDEMPTION 2009 (THE “ PROMOTION ” )
Promotion Period
- The Promotion is valid only for purchases made from 29 May to 26 July 2009 (the “Period”).
Eligibility
- Any existing OCBC Visa/Mastercard Credit Card whose Card Account is valid, subsisting and in the opinion of the Bank in good standing, shall be eligible to participate in the OCBC Credit Cards Great Singapore Sale redemption program. OCBC Debit Cards, Corporate Cards, Private Label Cards and Fairprice Plus Cards are not eligible for this program.
Proof of Transactions
- Redemption of each item has to be evidenced with a maximum of 9 combined original Credit Card charge slips with the same OCBC Credit Card number totalling between 29 May to 26 July 2009.
- The original charge slips can only be used for redemption of one (1) of the Redemption Items (i.e either a 4GB iPod Shuffle or an agnes b. gift set or a dinner buffet voucher from Plaza Market Café, Fairmont Singapore or a Happy Days shopping bag). Charge slips used to redeem for any gift cannot be presented again for other gifts redemption. is allowed per redemption.
- You are not permitted to aggregate spending between Principal and Supplementary cardmembers.
- This Promotion does not apply to recurring payment transactions, cash advances, balance transfers and transactions incurred overseas, online or via phone. This refers to retail purchases made locally. Only transactions done with OCBC Credit Cards with valid hardcopy Charge Slip will be recognized for the gifts redemption.
- For new instalment plans, only the first instalment amount charged to the Card with charge slips can be used as qualifying spend for the gift redemption. The rest of the unbilled instalment amount will not be taken into consideration for redemption purposes.
Redemption Items and Spending Tiers
- To redeem a Happy Days shopping bag, you must charge a minimum amount of S$30 from 29 May to 26 July 2009 to your OCBC Credit Card.
- To redeem a Plaza Market Café, Fairmont Singapore dinner buffet voucher, you must charge a minimum amount of S$800 and above from 29 May to 26 July 2009 to your OCBC Credit Card.
- To redeem an agnes b. gift set, you must charge a minimum amount of S$2,000 from 29 May to 26 July 2009 to your OCBC Credit Card.
- To redeem a 4GB iPod Shuffle, you must charge a minimum amount of S$4,000 from 29 May to 26 July 2009 to your OCBC Credit Card.
- The GSS gift redemption is limited to one gift per cardmember per day. This is regardless of the amount accumulated in the charge slips as long as the minimum spend tier has been reached.
Redemption Items and Quantity and Locations
- All Redemption Items are available for redemption strictly on a while stocks last basis.
- Redemption of Happy Days shopping bag (in 4 designs), Plaza Market Café, Fairmont Singapore dinner buffet voucher and agnes b. gift set is available at the OCBC Redemption Booth located at Vivocity, West Boulevard Level 1, Lobby B. (Address: 1 HarbourFront Walk, #02-241 Vivocity, Singapore 098585). Redemption hours are from 12pm to 9pm daily.
- Redemption of 4GB iPod Shuffle is available at iShop. A redemption letter will be issued out to qualifying cardmembers at the OCBC Redemption Booth located at Vivocity, West Boulevard Level 1, Lobby B. (Address: 1 HarbourFront Walk, Vivocity, Singapore 098585). Redemption hours are from 12pm to 9pm daily. Collection of 4GB iPod Shuffle is available at iShop, Orchard Cineleisure, #03-04/05/06, Singapore 239695 from 1030pm to 930pm daily.
General
- The Redemption Items and/or gifts are not exchangeable for cash, credit or kind in all cases, whether in whole or in part. OCBC Bank reserves the right to substitute any of the above Redemption Items and/or gifts with an item of similar value.
- OCBC Bank shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability or the fitness for any purpose or any other aspect of any Redemption Items and/or gifts.
- Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, OCBC Bank shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any damage or defect in any gift, and/or for any loss, injury, damage or harm suffered or incurred by or in connection with any gift by any person.
- OCBC Bank reserves the right at its absolute discretion to terminate this Promotion or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice including without limitation, the eligibility of any cardmember and the dates of the Promotion.
- OCBC Bank’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be at its absolute discretion and will be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions will prevail.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participants in the Promotion irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions .
