  • 1. What are the charts that I see in Money Insights page?

    They're hard to miss, aren't they? The Money flow Flow chart allows you to see where your money flows in your accounts over time. You'll see a detailed categorization of your spending when you scroll down. This makes your online banking experience with us easier and more intuitive. At a glance, you'll be able to see if there is an increase in your spending or if you're on track with your savings plan.

    2. Which accounts are included in Money In$ights?

    Money In$ights includes transactions and balances for all your current, savings, credit cards and EasiCredit accounts.

    3. What is the blue portion of the bar chart that I see in the Money Flow chart?

    The blue portion shows your spendings from your accounts. Hover over this blue portion to view the details of what you had spent.

    4. What is the red portion of the bar chart that I see in the Money Flow chart?

    The red portion shows the excess amount that you have spent over your budget. Hover over this red portion to view the details of what you had overspent on.

    5. Can I customize the Money Flow chart to my preference?

    Yes, you can change the duration which the Money Flow chart shows the flow of your money. Just click on the respective months or drag the month indicator at the bottom of the chart's timeline to view how your money flows over a duration of several months.

    6. How can I categorize those transactions marked as 'Uncategorised' ?

    Just click on the 'Categorize transactions' hyperlink to view your uncategorized transactions and arrange them according to the appropriate categories.

    7. What is the difference between "Your Spending by Category" and "Your Spending by Top Spend"?

    "Spending by Category" displays your transactions which have been automatically categorized into meaningful broad categories whereas "Spending by Top Spend" displays your top transactions by description. This feature allows you to view your spending in your preferred view.

    8. What is the 'Set Your Budget' feature about?

    'Set Your Budget' enables you to be in control of your monthly spend. When you set a budget to be spent on a monthly basis or parked aside in a category, we will keep track of your outflow of money for you. You can monitor your budget monthly by setting an alert for your total ouflow or by selected categories. The actual amount spent and your budget will be reflected in the Money Flow chart or the Category chart respectively.

    9. Can I change the budget amount?

    Yes, you can change the amount you've budgeted for and even add more budgets under different categories. Click on the 'Edit budget' link to make the necessary change.

    10. What happens if I spend more than my budget amount? Is there a penalty?

    No worries! This is just a tool to help you monitor your money. There will not be any penalty. The excess amount spent will be reflected in red in the Money F low chart or Category chart.

    11. Is the SMS alert for alerting me when I overspend free of charge?

    Yes, rest assured that it is free of charge!

    12. Can I set a budget ahead for upcoming months?

    Once you have set a budget, it will be saved and you do not have to set it again every month.

    13. Can I manage my Money Flow through mobile banking?

    Yes, this feature is available on our latest iPhone and iPad applications.

    14. I am a supplementary card holder. Why can't I view the balances of my card?

    You cannot view the balances on the supplementary card as it is tied to the primary card holder but you can view your spendings incurred on your own supplementary card.
