It was almost Christmas. The children were all very excited. They were at home themselves because their parents had something important to attend. Simon was solving a puzzle and Sally was reading a magazine.
Just then, Sally came upon an interesting part of the magazine, it wrote
''GIVE YOUR PARENTS A SURPRISE ON CHRISTMAS!''
Sally told Simon about the surprise and Simon said ''That is a good idea, Sally, we can save some money to buy them a present!''. They decided to buy Mummy Sandra a dress and buy Daddy Sam a badminton racket.
Everyday Simon and Sally saved a little bit of money. Two weeks later, while Mummy Sandra and Daddy Sam were at the supermarket buying things, Simon and Sally decided to count how much they had saved. Simon and Sally saved more than enough to buy the presents for their parents!
On Christmas, Simon and Sally gave their parents the presents. How surprised they were! Mummy Sandra could hardly wait to wear her new dress! And Daddy Sam and Simon went for a game of badminton immediately.
Saving is a very good habit. You should start saving for your future like how Simon and Sally saved their money for the presents!
