 Answers
1:What can I invest with my SRS contributions?
  Ans: A wide range of financial instruments are available for your investments. These include stocks, unit trusts, fixed deposits, annuities, fund management accounts and life insurance policies (single premium and recurring premium products only). However, direct property investments, life insurance policies greater than 3 times the single premium, critical illness, health and long-term care products are not allowed.

2:How to get started?
  Ans:
Step 1
  • Click here  to open an SRS Account online OR
  • Visit any OCBC Branch  with your NRIC (for Singaporeans / Singapore PRs) or Passport & FIN (for Foreigners) to open an SRS Account

Step 2

  • Make a contribution to your SRS Account. The maximum amount you can contribute to your account is as follows:

  • Singaporeans / Singapore PRs - $11,475 per annum  
  • Foreigners                                - $26,775 per annum (if you sign the Declaration Form  declaring your foreigner status)

 

For account transfer to OCBC Bank
  • Click download & complete the form     
  • Visit any OCBC Branch with the Account Transfer Form to open an SRS Account and make a contribution.
