1:What is EnhancedCare?
  Ans: EnhancedCare plan is a personal accident plan that pays accidental death benefit, accidental disability benefit and daily hospital accident cash benefit.

2:Who can apply EnhancedCare?
  Ans: This plan is eligible to all OCBC customers who have a deposit/Credit Card/EasiCredit account. You can also apply EnhancedCare for your spouse and child(ren).

3:Are there any age criteria in applying EnhancedCare?
  Ans: The insured adult must be aged from 21 to 59 years old and the insured child must be aged from 1 to 17 years old to apply. For the insured adult, this plan is automatically renewed up to age 65 years old.

4:Does an insured child enjoy the same benefit limit as an insured adult?
  Ans: An insured child is covered at 50% of the adult’s limit.

5:Can I apply EnhancedCare for a third party?
  Ans: You can only apply EnhancedCare for your spouse and children. Your relatives and friends can apply EnhancedCare on their own if they are OCBC account holders.

6:Are there any eligibility criteria on occupation?
  Ans: Yes, the excluded occupations are: police force personnel, fire service personnel, civil defense personnel, CISCO personnel, military personnel, chauffeurs, tax/dispatch/heavy vehicle/delivery drivers, security officers/guards, diver, cabin crew or pilot and those involved in underground work or offshore work or operation.

7:I already have a EnhancedCare or FlexiCare policy with OAC, can I still apply?
  Ans: No, because you can only be covered under one of the stated policy with OAC.

8:I already have a EnhancedCare policy with OAC. But I want to apply for my spouse and/or children. What should I do?
  Ans: To add coverage for your spouse and/or children, please contact OAC Customer Service at 6248 2662 (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm) for assistance.

9:I already have a personal accident plan with other insurer. Can I still apply EnhancedCare?
  Ans: Yes, you can as this plan pays on top of your existing plan with the other insurer.

10:Who can I contact at Overseas Assurance Corporation Ltd for more information?
  Ans: You can contact our Customer Service Officers at Overseas Assurance Corporation Ltd at 6248 2662 from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Alternatively, you can email to csbancassurance@oac.com.sg.

11:How do I apply for EnhancedCare?
  Ans: You need to have an existing account (Deposit/ Credit Card/EasiCredit) to apply EnhancedCare online. You need to:
• Fill up your particulars, your spouse's and children’s details (if enrolling) on the online application form.
• Enter your promotional code, if you have any, to enjoy additional discount off your premium.
• Select the account for the premium amount to be debited from. Please ensure that the account selected has sufficient balance for premium debiting.
• Click on the "preview" button to proceed.
• Once you have confirmed that all information provided is correct, click on "submit" to activate.
• Upon successful submission, your application for EnhancedCare is completed.

12:After I submit the application, when can I receive the policy contract?
  Ans: You will receive the policy contract and documents 5 working days after the submission date.

13:How do I make a claim?
  Ans: To make a claim, you can contact our Customer Service Officers at Overseas Assurance Corporation Ltd at 6248 2628 from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

14:Do I have to renew the policy every month?
  Ans: This is an automatic renewal policy on a monthly basis up to age 65 years old. As long as the monthly premium can be debited from the designated OCBC account by the premium due date, the policy will be renewed. Hence, you are advised to ensure that the nominated OCBC account has sufficient balance for debiting by the premium due date.
