1: What services does an ATM card offer?
  Ans:

An OCBC Personal EasiCard gives you access to the following services:

  • Account balance enquiry
  • Cash withdrawal (up to S$1,000 or S$3,000 or S$5,000 per day depending on the daily limit you signed up for)
  • Cash deposit at OCBC Bank Automated Deposit Machine(ADM) and ATM Plus
  • Fund transfer to any OCBC Bank account
  • Bill payment
  • Cheque book request
  • Cheque status enquiry
  • Statement printing
  • Change of ATM PIN
  • Change account linked to card
  • Update Contact Particulars(in-branch ATMs)
  • Remit funds to participating beneficiary banks in China*

Phone Banking services:

  • Phone Banking application
  • Phone Banking PIN re-issuance

Internet / Mobile Banking services:

  • Internet Banking application

Cash Withdrawal Overseas:

  • Visa/PLUS ATMs:
    Withdraw cash from your savings or current account at over 855,000 Visa/PLUS ATMs in more than 149 countries worldwide. You may withdraw up to the equivalent of your daily card limit in the currency of the country you are in. A nominal service charge of 3% is levied on the S$ equivalent of (a) the amount withdrawn and (b) such service fee as may be imposed by the acquirer Bank, which may vary from bank to bank (min. S$5 and max. S$20 per transaction).
  • Cash Withdrawal in Indonesia:
    You will enjoy a preferential flat service charge of S$2 for withdrawals at Bank NISP ATMs in Indonesia.
  • Cash Withdrawal in Malaysia:
    You will enjoy a preferential flat service charge of S$2 for withdrawals at OCBC ATMs in Malaysia (including funds transfers).
  • Participating MEPS member Banks' ATMs
    In partnership with NETS and MEPS (Malaysia Electronic Payment System), you can now withdraw cash* in Malaysia with greater ease of convenience. Access your funds at more than 4,800 ATMs at participating MEPS member Banks' ATMs in Malaysia.

    * A service charge of S$5 applies for each cash withdrawal.

2: What are the withdrawal limits?
  Ans: The withdrawal limits for cash withdrawal/NETS purchase are S$1,000, S$3,000, or S$5,000 per day depending on the daily limit you have signed up for. For corporate cards, you can set varying withdrawal limits per day for different members of your staff from a minimum of S$100 to a maximum of S$5,000 per day in multiples of S$100.

4: How do I apply for an ATM card?
  Ans: You may apply for an ATM card at any one of our branches where you can collect your ATM card and select your ATM PIN on the spot. Thereafter, you can start accessing our ATM services.

5: What if the machine retains my card?
  Ans: Your ATM card is likely to be retained by the ATM when you exceed the number of invalid PIN tries. It is also possible that your card could be damaged. If your card is retained at any ATM , please call 1800 363 3333.

6: What if I lose my card or if my card is stolen?
  Ans: You can call us at 1800 363 3333 for:
  • Loss of ATM card
  • Non-receipt of cash
  • Retained ATM card
  • Other enquries on ATM
