Q1 Why is OCBC running a Lucky Draw?

 

Through this campaign, OCBC is giving the community something to look forward to. We want to reward customers who continue to save and/or who start new deposit relationships with OCBC.

 

Q2 Why does OCBC want to run such an SMS contest?

 

We wish to reward our community of customers by pegging our Grand Draw Prize to the response rate of our customers. The more support which we garner from our customers, the larger the Grand Draw Prize and number of Grand Draw consolation prize winners.

 

Q3 What are the eligible products included in the Happy Savings Draw?

 

The Happy Savings Draw is only for personal S$ Savings, Current and Time Deposit accounts. Foreign Currency and Corporate accounts are not included as eligible products in this campaign, as well as investment or bancassurance products.

Q1 How do I qualify for the lucky draw?

 

The lucky draw is open to all account holders of eligible accounts. Lucky draw chances will be allocated to your account and you may stand to win the respective lucky draw cash prizes as long as your account meets the stipulated conditions. Do refer to the Happy Savings Draw 2010 Terms and Conditions for further details.

 

Q2 Do I need to sign up for the lucky draw?

 

No, you do not need to sign up for the lucky draw. Chances will be allocated to your eligible account automatically by the bank, except that to be accorded Extra Chances, you would need to fill up the personal particulars section in the Tear & Win Card and to deposit this at the Happy Savings Draw box at any OCBC Branch.

 

Q3 Can I win more than once?

 

Within the Grand Draw and the individual Monthly Draws, you can only win once, i.e. you can win once in each Monthly Draw and you can win in subsequent Monthly Draws and the Grand Draw.

 

Each of these Draws are held separately for example, if your account had won in the March Draw, this account is also eligible for the April Draw and Grand Draw.

 

Q4 Is there a maximum number of times I can win?

 

As long as your respective accounts qualify for each Draw based on the stipulated conditions, you will eligible to win in each of the respective draws.

 

Q5 What happens if the winning account is held by two or three persons?

 

OCBC would credit the Cash Prize into the account, and the usage of the funds is governed by the signing condition for the account.

 

Q6 When will the results be published?

 

For the 4 Monthly Draws, results will be published by mid-month in newspapers. The Happy SMS Contest winners results will be published by 30 June 2010. The Grand Draw winners will be published by mid September respectively.

Chances

 

Q1 Why are there three categories of chances?

 

The Loyalty Chances are to reward existing customers of the Bank. The Basic Chances are to reward account balances and the Extra Chances are to reward. The categories of chances are to help you acquire more chances to win.

 

Q2 Can I add up the balance in all my accounts to meet the S$1,000 minimum monthly average balance?

 

No, the chances are awarded based on the monthly average balance and month end balance of each eligible S$ Current, Savings and Time Deposit account respectively.

 

Q3 Are Chances cumulative?

 

For the Monthly Draw, the Chances are based on Chances accumulated for the month only. Total chances acquired for the months of March till July 2010 will be accumulated for the Grand Draw.

Q5 As an individual, are my chances aggregated if I have many accounts?

 

Chances are assigned to each eligible account and hence, you stand more chances to win with more eligible accounts with the required balances.
