Introduction

Singapore Pools is offering a new betting system which allows you to place your bets by calling Singapore Pools Customer Contact Centre.

You can use your personal savings or current accounts (without credit facility) to open a tele-betting account.

Each tele-betting account requires a Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA) and compulsory earmarking of funds.

Eligibility

This service is open to all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.

Individual aged 21 years old and above.

All savings accounts can be used except for the following:
- Young Savers Account
- Savings Account Trust

No joint accounts, corporate accounts or accounts with credit facilities (e.g. EasiCredit) are allowed.

Have sufficient funds in the bank account to be earmarked (For annual income greater than $30K, you will not need to be earmarked. For annual income less than $30K, you will be earmarked $3,000. You are required to submit your income document together with the application forms for verification purposes.)

Within the PoolzConnect pack, there are 3 forms which you need to complete –
- a PoolzConnect account opening form,
- a Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA) form, and
- an Earmark Authorisation form (applicable only if annual income is less than $30K)
