What are Electronic Statements (eStatements)?
Electronic Statements (eStatements) are soft copies of your existing paper statements, which are available for viewing through our Online Banking platform in pdf format.
Are all OCBC products eligible for this eStatement service?
Currently, we are offering the eStatement service for Deposits, Credit Cards and Easi Credit.
However, please note that deposit accounts such as Passbook Savings account, Mighty Savers account, Joint accounts where it
requires more than one signatory to operate the account, and Trust accounts are not eligible for eStatements.
I am currently able to check my accounts’ transaction details on the Online Banking platform. Why do I need to now opt
in for eStatements as I still have my hardcopy statements.
eStatements are soft copies of the existing paper statements which are your monthly statements. The account transaction details you
currently see online from your Online Banking, is not a replacement for your monthly statements, as it does not provide an overview of
your monthly transactions.
Please note that once you sign up for the eStatement service for any account or product, the bank will stop sending paper
statements to you in relation to that account or product.
After I opt for e-statement, can I choose to opt back to paper statement?
Yes, you are definitely free to opt back to paper statements should you change your mind. Upon receipt of your request, we will
process it immediately and you should be back to receiving paper statements by the next statement cycle for your selected account or
product.
How do I go about opting in for this service?
There are two ways to opt-in for eStatements – online via Online Banking account or you can submit a form.

After logging in to your personal Online Banking, you can choose to opt in for eStatements via the Electronic Statement
section on the left navigation column

- Mobile and Online Banking Services Form (Personal)
For new account or product applications (Deposit, Credit Cards and EasiCredit), you can sign up for eStatement when filling in the relevant application forms.
How would I know whether my application for eStatement is successful?
- Online Banking
In your Personal Online Banking, when you sign up for Electronic Statements, you will be informed of your application status after you
click "Preview", followed by "Submit". Look out for the application status in the “Status” column.

How would I be notified when my eStatement is available for viewing?
You will receive an email notification to the email address specified in your Online Banking platform. Your eStatements will be
ready for viewing four business days after every statement cycle date.
Once this email notification is received, you will be able to log on to your Online Banking site to view your eStatement.
Are there any fees and charges if I opt in for this eStatement service?
There are no charges for this service. Please be assured that all our customers will definitely be informed if there are any
changes to the fees and charges.
What are the benefits of signing up for eStatement?
Going paperless will save you the hassle of losing and filing paper statements. It will also provide you with easy and immediate
access to your statements as you can login to OCBC Online Banking to view your eStatements anytime, anywhere. You will also be able to
view your past eStatements as well.
What’s more, with OCBC’s award-winning 2-Factor Authentication (2FA), you can be assured of security and
confidentiality when you view your eStatements and transaction details online.
How soon will I receive my eStatement, should I choose to opt in for this service?
Based on your respective products’ statement cycles, you would be able to view your eStatement no later than 4 business days
after your statement cycle processing date.
I can’t recall my OCBC Online Banking access code and PIN. How can I view my eStatement?
Simply apply for Online Banking access at any of our ATM machines or the Internet/Mobile Banking Services Form (Personal). Upon
obtaining your IB access, kindly give us a call and we will be glad to help register you for eStatement.
How will I be informed of promotions if I no longer receive promotional materials?
You will continue to receive promotional vouchers on your eStatement. In addition, our latest promotions and privileges are always
available on our OCBC Website (
www.ocbc.com.sg) for your easy reference.
What is the difference between this eStatement and the Credit Card eStatement that I’m currently seeing in my
Online Banking?
Previously for Credit Cards’ eStatements, they are in HTML format which is shown as a frame in your browser. Our new
eStatement is in the form of PDF file which you can save and print more easily.
I used to receive a statement with 3 of my credit cards in one statement. With eStatement, will I still see them together
or will they be on 3 different statements?
Your eStatement will be the same as the paper statements you have been receiving. The accounts that are combined will continue to
be reflected as one statement for eStatement.
Can my supplementary cardholder access the eStatement with my own Online Banking access code and PIN?
Similar to paper statements, only the primary cardholder has access to view the eStatement upon login to your OCBC Online Banking
account. Transaction details remain secure and confidential to the primary cardholder.
I cannot seem to view up to 12 months of PDF statement via the new eStatement button.
The PDF eStatement are only available for statements generated after XX Jan 2010. Should you wish to view past statements (HTML format), please access it from Credit Cards → eStatements.

How do I pay my bills after viewing my statement?
You may pay for your credit card bills via our “Bill Payment” ⇒ “By Account” option found on the left
-hand navigation panel in your Online Banking.

What types of deposit products are eligible for eStatements?
All statement based Savings, Current Accounts will be eligible for eStatements. However, to note that only eligible accounts with
signing conditions Sign Singly, Either One or Anyone will be able to access eStatements via OCBC Online Banking platform.

Are Passbook Savings Accounts eligible for eStatements?
Passbook-based Savings Accounts do not have a monthly statement generated and sent to customers’ mailing address. Therefore,
eStatements (which is a pdf mirror image of existing hardcopy statements) will not be available for passbook savings account.
Are Time Deposits (SGD or Foreign Currency) eligible?
No, there are no statements sent for Time Deposit Accounts. However, a summary of your Time Deposit holdings will be shown in your
combined statement. Hence, if you have opted in your eligible Statement based accounts to receive eStatements, you will be able to see this
Time Deposit summary section.
I have multiple statement based Savings, Current Accounts with OCBC and I am sent combined statement every month. If I
now opt-in for eStatements for all my individual deposit products, will I be sent an exact pdf image of my current hardcopy statement?
Yes, you will be sent a pdf mirror image of your hardcopy statement, as an eStatement.
If I do not sign up all my eligible deposit accounts for eStatement, what will be the result?
Assuming you have 10 statement based Savings, Current Accounts with the same mailing address and you choose to opt in 6 accounts to
receive eStatement, after the statement cycle date, you will be sent an eStatement for the 6 accounts. In addition, you will continue to
receive a hardcopy statement for my remaining 4 accounts.
Your Time Deposit summary page will be reflected in your eStatement.
If I am currently receiving 2 combined statements which are sent to 2 different mailing addresses, what would be
the result if I opt in for eStatements?
Scenario 1: All accounts opted in for eStatement
If you have 10 statement based accounts, with 5 accounts’ combined statement being mailed to Address A and 5 accounts are to address
B and now you choose to opt in for eStatement for all accounts, you will be sent an eStatement showing all 10 accounts.
Scenario 2: Some accounts opted in for eStatement
If you opt in 3 out of 5 accounts (under your Address A combined Statement), you will be sent an eStatement for these 3 accounts and
hardcopy statement for remaining 2. The same would apply for Address B combined statement.
