How it works
SmartChange rounds up your purchase to the nearest dollar and OCBC matches the difference dollar-for-dollar
Example: Cost of item purchased with your credit card: S$25.30. Amount charged to your credit card: S$26.00.
Spare Change:
Your purchases are rounded up to the nearest dollar (S$25.30 to S$26.00).
The difference (S$0.70) is called Spare Change which goes to your savings account.
SmartChange Reward:
SmartChange doubles your savings with 100% matching of your Spare Change *.

Spending Rebate:
You also get and additional 0.4% Spending Rebate off your monthly credit card purcases (0.4% X S$25.30).
* 100% matching is applicable for the first three months, subject to a maximum of S$188 only. From the 4th month onwards, we will continue to match your spare change at 4.88%.
