This is a short term investment linked to an underlying bond where the client receives a guaranteed enhanced yield. At the start of the investment, the client selects a bond (usually a government bond) at a pre-agreed bond purchase price (strike price). On maturity, OCBC Bank returns the client the investment together with the enhanced yield either in the original investment currency or in units of the selected bond at the strike price. The client receives the bond on maturity when the price of the bond is lower than the strike price at the end of the investment period.
