Frequently Asked Questions

The new ATM card comes with an embedded Europay Mastercard Visa (EMV) chip. This is an improved security standard for cards that will protect you better against potential fraudulent activities.

You can use your new ATM card in the same way as you do now. The only difference is when you pay via NETS - the cashier will insert your new ATM card into a NETS terminal, instead of swiping it.

Your new ATM card has the same PIN number as your old card. If you have forgotten your PIN, please visit any of our branches to get a new PIN.

Yes, provided if you have already activated the overseas ATM cash withdrawal feature for your old card. If you have not done so previously, you can have this feature activated at any OCBC branch.

If your new card is not yet activated:
We highly encourage you to activate your new ATM card as soon as possible. Your old ATM card will remain active either for 2 months from the time you receive your new card or upon activation of your new card.

If you intend to activate your new ATM card via the ATM machine, you will have to use your old ATM card.

If your new card is activated:
Once your new ATM card has been activated, please destroy your old ATM card by cutting it into two. This is to protect you from potential fraudulent activities.

Each new Corporate ATM card has the same 10 digit card number as your old card. You just need to match the 10 digit card number of the new card with the old card.

It will be deactivated after 2 months from the time you receive your new card or upon activation of your new card, whichever is earlier.

Yes, your personal OCBC Bank ATM card will also be replaced. You will be notified separately on that.

Your old ATM card will be cancelled on 30 November 2014. We will be happy to issue you a new Corporate ATM card to your authorised user(s) if you so wish. Just follow the instructions below:

How to get your current card replaced:

  1. Complete this form and ask the authorised persons appointed by your Board of Directors/your Partners/ the Sole Proprietor/your Management Committee to sign it.
  2. You must submit the completed form and your existing Corporate ATM Card personally at any OCBC Bank branch by 30 November 2014

If we do not hear from you by 30 November 2014, you will have to make a fresh application in order to get your user(s) our Corporate ATM Card.
